University of Perpetual Help

Located in Dalta, Las Piñas Philippines, University of Perpetual Help System is a catholic university with campuses in Las pinas, Calamba city, Cavite and Bacoor, Laguna in the Philippines. On 5th Feb 1975, Dr Gen. Antonio Laperal and his wife Dr Daisy Moran Tamayo founded Perpetual help College of Rizal (PCHR). Initially, it offered only a Bachelor of Nursing course with 700 students enrolled. Later in 1995 and 1996 campuses were established in Molina and Calamba, respectively. The Commission of Higher Education(CHED) granted university status to it and in 2017 it gave the university an autonomous status. The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA believes in the principle of “Character Building is Nation Building”. It runs on the ideas of community service, teaching and research.
