Kazakh National Medical University

Kazakh National Medical University is situated in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was established in 1931 and now it is the top medical institute in Kazakhstan. The university is dedicated to its first rector S.D. Asfendiyarov.

There are 30 scientists with the world name and more than 80 visiting professors from 14 countries.
University has trained 10054 candidates in 2014-15 including bachelors – 7564, undergraduates – 141, residents – 286, interns – 2014, doctoral candidates – 52.
